A well-established law firm in Uniondale, NY is seeking a full-time, experienced Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys in a busy commercial litigation practice. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling sophisticated litigation materials in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, revise, and compare commercial litigation documents and employee manuals
\n
• Prepare documents for electronic court filing, including tables of authority, indexes, hyperlinking, and formatting
\n
• Work extensively with PDF files, including redaction and document management
\n
• Use Excel for data entry, table creation, and data comparison
\n
• Assemble binders, manuals, and similar materials
\n
• Profile and maintain electronic client files
\n
• Enter attorney time for billing purposes
\n
• Manage court deadlines and internal calendars
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Prior experience as a legal secretary required
\n
• Strong commercial litigation document skills
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF tools
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
\n
• Strong organizational and communication skills
\n

What We Offer:

• Salary: The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
