CT Technologist Weekend

Role Overview The CT Tech performs diagnostic CT procedures using ionizing radiation, ensuring high-quality imaging through technical proficiency and independent judgment. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, maintaining competency, preparing patients, verifying identification, adhering to safety protocols, and evaluating image quality. They provide patient education, ensure comfort, coordinate care, and follow infection control standards. The role involves documenting procedures, managing contrast media administration, and supporting ongoing professional development. The position requires strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, and effective communication skills. Qualifications & Skills ARRT certification (RT)(R) and valid state licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification IV competency and adherence to facility-specific certifications Proficiency in CT operation, imaging protocols, and contrast administration Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively Manual dexterity, physical stamina for patient handling, and ability to navigate busy environments Key Duties Perform and evaluate CT scans per protocol Ensure safety and quality standards Educate and comfort patients Maintain accurate records and documentation Support team training and stay updated on technology advancements #J-18808-Ljbffr Azza HealthCare Agency
