Job Overview

The Production Specialist role is designed to develop employees through multiple levels of competency. Starting at the entry level, you'll gain a thorough understanding of the product line, manufacturing processes, and production philosophy while learning essential assembly and manufacturing skills.
Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the product line, manufacturing processes, and company philosophy.
• Perform assembly tasks at designated workstations within required production cycle times.
• Build and complete sub-assemblies within established tolerances.
• Assemble components requiring multiple assembly steps.
• Utilize hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power-assisted equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
• Inspect products for quality and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic assembly and production problems.
• Cross-train across multiple workstations.
• Assist with training and mentoring new employees as skills progress.

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools is a plus.
• Ability to read detailed measurements and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to learn safety procedures, continuous improvement practices, and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver medium to heavy objects.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks.

This position is located in a manufacturing and warehouse setting. Employees are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including:

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.13 - $25.13/hr.
