Location: This is a hybrid opportunity based in downtown Chicago, IL, offering the benefits of in-person collaboration along with flexible remote workdays.
Note: Candidates must be admitted to practice in Illinois and have at least 2 years of insurance coverage experience. A JD from an accredited law school and strong legal research and writing skills are required.

Job Description
- Draft insurance coverage opinions and coverage position letters involving complex policy issues
- Analyze insurance policies, claims, potential exposures, and coverage obligations
- Handle insurance coverage litigation matters across jurisdictions nationwide
- Conduct detailed legal research and develop clear, persuasive written analysis
- Collaborate closely with partners and associates on sophisticated coverage matters
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding coverage strategy, litigation developments, and case direction
- Build practical litigation and insurance coverage experience while taking on increasing responsibility
Qualifications
- 2+ years of insurance coverage experience
- Active Illinois Bar admission
- JD from an accredited law school
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Experience with commercial general liability, commercial auto, professional liability, or D&O policies is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented practice
