Front Desk Scheduler

A local eye clinic in Alexandria is seeking a dependable Front Desk Receptionist to support daily patient flow and front-office operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a calm, professional presence in a clinical environment.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay: $13-$14/hour DOE

Responsibilities

Opening & Closing Office - preparing the front desk for daily operations and securing the office at end of day
Patient Check-In - entering accurate demographic, insurance, and appointment information
Patient Check-Out - collecting balances, providing receipts, and scheduling follow-up visits
Rescheduling - managing appointment changes promptly and professionally
Insurance Verification - confirming coverage and benefits prior to patient visits
Patient Communication - answering calls, returning messages, and offering clear, courteous assistance
