Field Technician II
At UES, we're a team of more than 4,000 engineers, scientists, geologists, inspectors, technicians, and drillers united by a shared purpose—to make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. As a national leader in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and materials testing and inspection, we collaborate on transformative projects across transportation, energy, water, healthcare, and more.
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Field Technician II to support engineering, environmental services, materials testing, and inspection projects. As a Field Technician II, you will perform advanced field and laboratory testing, conduct on-site inspections, and ensure construction, infrastructure, and environmental projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and committed to maintaining a strong culture of safety. You will also enjoy working outdoors in dynamic environments, collaborating with a team to solve real-time challenges, and ensuring safety and quality compliance on every project. In addition to independent fieldwork, this position offers opportunities to potentially mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
