A well-established, upscale steakhouse concept in Boston is searching for a General Manager who knows how to lead a restaurant, not just run one. This is a confidential search conducted on behalf of a respected multi-unit hospitality group known for polished, guest-first dining experiences.

The Opportunity

The GM will own every result in the building, sales, labor, food cost, guest satisfaction, team retention, and culture. You'll report to an Area Manager and partner closely with the Executive Chef to run the restaurant as if it were your own business.

What You'll Own

• Team: Recruit, develop, and retain a leadership team and hourly staff capable of executing at a fine-dining level. Build bench strength and create real succession plans.
• Revenue: Drive sales, traffic, private dining, and guest frequency through active local marketing, community relationships, and a team trained to sell with confidence.
• The Business: Manage the P&L with discipline, labor, COGS, inventory, cash controls, and operating expenses all fall under your accountability.
• Standards: Protect the guest experience through consistent execution, hospitality, food quality, and facility upkeep, shift after shift.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of restaurant leadership experience, ideally in upscale, fine dining, or steakhouse environments
• A track record of building strong teams and reducing turnover
• Financial acumen across P&L, labor, and inventory management
• A leader who takes ownership without waiting to be asked
