Financial Analyst

Job Overview – Financial Analyst – 34439 We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join a growing four-person FP&A team that works closely with the CFO and senior leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–4 years of FP&A experience who wants to broaden their skill set, take on increasing responsibility, and grow into a Senior Financial Analyst role over the next 1–2 years. Compensation: $85k - $95k DOE The role will initially focus on financial reporting, variance analysis, and supporting monthly board reporting, with the opportunity to take on greater ownership of forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and business analysis over time. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget vs. actual results and variance analysis. Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly board reporting packages. Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Support financial statement analysis and reporting. Provide financial insights and recommendations to business leaders and cross-functional partners. Partner with leaders across the organization to understand business performance and the "why" behind the numbers. Support capital allocation reporting and other strategic FP&A initiatives. Develop and improve reporting processes, tools, and models to increase efficiency and accuracy. Take on increasing ownership of FP&A responsibilities as you develop within the role. Requirements 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role. Strong foundation in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large amounts of financial data. Ability to translate financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems and technology. Experience with Power BI and/or basic SQL.
