Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Every Other Weekend | 36 or 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit serving an adult medical patient population
• Read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips as a core component of patient monitoring and clinical decision-making
• Manage a patient assignment of 4–5 patients per RN in accordance with unit staffing ratios
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing coverage
• Rotate shifts as needed to cover open night shifts, with occasional day shift rotation a few times per month

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a single location, or 2 years of experience as a travel nurse
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a medical/surgical telemetry setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Comfort with floating and adapting to varying unit needs
