Registered Nurse - Flight

Pediatric Transport Nurse

Provide specialized pediatric patient transport services involving flight and mobile transfers. Ensure safe and efficient transportation of neonates and pediatric patients guided by physicians, utilizing various modes including ground, air, or rotor transport.

Coordinate patient transfers via flight, rotor, or ground transport, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with the transport team, including RN and RT, to execute patient activations efficiently. Complete required training with LifeFlight and other vendors to maintain compliance with transport standards. Document all transports accurately within the electronic health record system. Comply with all licensing, background, and certification requirements prior to starting. Assist in pre-transfer preparations and ensure all equipment and documentation are ready.

Hold a valid WA RN license and an Oregon RN license or proof of application and fingerprinting. Demonstrate at least 1 year of pediatric or acute care nursing experience. Possess flight experience or mobile transfer expertise. Be able to complete required Epic training modules and competency assessments. Ensure compliance with background checks and travel authorization policies. Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
