Territory Manager-Brooklyn

Location: Brooklyn, NY | Schedule: Full-time, field-based (mobile store) Overview An established, family-operated industrial hardware distributor is seeking a Territory Manager to serve customers across a defined geographic territory in Brooklyn, NY. This company operates fully stocked mobile stores that bring industrial hardware products directly to customers in sectors such as transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, federal/local government, and heavy equipment. The Territory Manager plays a key role in driving sales growth through direct, face-to-face customer engagement. What you'll do Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on businesses near existing customers Make face-to-face calls on cold and warm sales prospects Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls Maintain customer contact information-including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses-using company software Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must reside within the assigned territory; relocation is not available Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle Must maintain a clean driving history Must have the physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis Strong, tenured work background with no job hopping; ideally a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment Preferred qualifications Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales Why this role This role offers the opportunity to operate a fully stocked mobile store serving a diverse range of industries, bringing products and service directly to customers across an assigned territory. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group
