Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated independent Nurse Practitioner to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected Urgent Care Clinic, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Join an established team of 1 physicians and 7 APPs in an urgent care setting. Access to onsite X-ray and laboratory services for rapid diagnosis. Employed position within a nonprofit health system. Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.

Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests including X-rays, laboratory studies, and point of care testing. Provide procedures such as wound repair, splinting, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and other urgent care interventions within scope of practice. Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.

About the Facility: K+Stat is staffed to handle multiple patients for minor illnesses and injuries, including pediatrics. Minimum Requirements: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred. Master's degree of Nursing required.

Additional Preferences: 1 year of family practice or urgent care experience preferred.
