Empower the educational journey of a medically fragile high school student as an LVN through a dedicated 1:1 assignment in a supportive school environment near Vista, CA. In this contract role, you'll deliver compassionate nursing care, ensuring specialized health needs are met both within the classroom and during daily transportation. You’ll be an essential presence, fostering continuity and security for your student while collaborating closely with school staff and other care professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active California LVN license required.
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred.
• Skillset should include care for vents, trachs, g-tubes, and related needs.
• Comfortable riding the school bus with your student.
• Effective communication and reliability are essential, given the close 1:1 nature of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, hands-on medical support for one medically fragile high school student.
• Monitor, document, and respond to acute health needs, including ventilator and tracheostomy support, throughout the school day and on transportation.
• Collaborate with school personnel and supervising staff to maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Foster routine, trust, and comfort for your student while adapting to their evolving care requirements.
