Job Summary Technical Support Specialist I – Full Time The Technical Support Specialist I assesses and troubleshoots computer user support problems such as password resets, desktop support issues, or specialized application support for the CNI Corporate environment. The role may also monitor computer systems and operational alerts as assigned. Company Overview Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. Key Responsibilities Handles inbound telephone customer requests. Troubleshoots and resolves issues using investigative methods and service desk procedures. Performs problem diagnosis, research, isolation and resolution. Works independently to determine the best and most efficient solution, including procedural changes as necessary. Applies system analysis techniques and consults with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications. Monitors assigned queues, voicemail, website and other incoming communication methods for user requests. Documents all actions taken and escalates tickets to higher‑level support groups as necessary; participates in maintaining and improving help‑desk SOPs. Resets user passwords and provides desktop and specialized application support. Monitors computer systems and operations as assigned. Prompts answers to help‑desk phones. Adheres to standard procedure documentation. Participates in all company‑provided training and self‑development. Plans daily activities to maximize personal output within company policy and supervisor instruction. Essential Requirements Ability to pass a background check. CompTIA A+ certification preferred. Experience with PC hardware, Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2013+ messaging services, Server 2008/2012, network infrastructure, Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2013, desktop and network operating systems, and Microsoft Outlook. Education & Experience Associate’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience. Physical Demands The role is primarily performed in an office/warehouse setting. It requires the use of hands for finger, handle, or feel tasks; reaching with hands and arms; occasional work above head; twisting at the waist; climbing and descending stairs while carrying objects; speaking and hearing; frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; occasional sitting and balancing; lifting and moving up to twenty‑five pounds regularly and up to fifty pounds occasionally; working near moving mechanical parts; exposure to general office machinery noise; possible exposure to warehouse, truck or forklift noise.
