Responsibilities Configure and manage CNC lathes and mills to achieve precise part production based on complex technical specifications. Analyze blueprints and engineering schematics to translate design requirements into high-quality finished components. Optimize production workflows by proactively monitoring machine performance and making real-time adjustments. Maximize equipment uptime by performing preventative maintenance and executing rapid troubleshooting on mechanical systems. Partner with cross-functional teams to refine machining strategies and improve overall manufacturing throughput. Maintain rigorous documentation of production metrics to ensure traceability and operational transparency. Uphold a culture of safety by strictly following industrial protocols and maintaining an orderly workspace. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in CNC operation or a related machining role. Advanced proficiency in G-code and M-code programming. Deep understanding of CNC tooling, material properties, and machining best practices. Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and solve complex production problems. Preferred Skills Technical certification in CNC machining or related manufacturing discipline. Experience with CAD/CAM software suites.
