We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and help manage accounting activities across a complex multi-entity organization. This role is well suited for a highly organized finance specialist who thrives in a deadline-driven setting and can balance technical accounting work with thoughtful analysis. The position will play a central part in close activities, debt-related accounting, consolidations, lender reporting, and the preparation of accurate financial information for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Manage assigned month-end close tasks, including preparing journal entries, recording accruals, reconciling accounts, and maintaining balance sheet support schedules.
• Track debt activity by maintaining amortization schedules and recording monthly entries related to interest, principal, and financing costs.
• Account for a range of borrowing arrangements such as term debt, revolving facilities, mortgage obligations, and interest rate hedging instruments.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, including interest allocations, and prepare elimination entries to support consolidated reporting.
• Contribute to the preparation of both consolidated and entity-level financial statements across multiple legal entities.
• Compile lender reporting packages and supporting schedules, including reconciliations, covenant calculations, and borrowing base documentation as required by credit agreements.
• Partner with banks, lenders, auditors, and external advisors to respond to reporting requests and provide financial support during audits and reviews.
• Assist with treasury-related processes such as cash flow forecasting, wire activity coordination, and positive pay administration.
• Develop management reports, analytical schedules, and ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making.
• Use NetSuite to manage general ledger activity, perform reconciliations, and generate financial reporting outputs.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA designation or active progress toward certification is required.
• Prior hands-on experience using NetSuite is required.
• Demonstrated background in debt accounting, including interest, principal, and financing-related entries.
• Experience with intercompany accounting, eliminations, and multi-entity consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and ownership of month-end close responsibilities.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze financial data and produce meaningful reporting.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work with senior leaders and external business partners.
