As a Security Officer - Full Time in Lake Forest, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions, unusual activity, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and document deliveries, arrivals, and departures when required.
• Support order at an industrial location by observing operational areas for policy-related concerns, following post instructions, and preparing clear, accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
