Registered Respiratory Therapist II

Role Overview: The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, including medication administration, ventilator management, airway procedures, and patient assessments in critical care settings. They deliver patient education, support staff development, and participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Administer aerosolized medications, perform ventilator management, and manage airway procedures Conduct patient assessments and collaborate with healthcare team members for care planning Educate patients and mentor new employees, students, and peers Ensure safety through accurate documentation, electronic order management, and adherence to safety protocols Contribute to performance improvement and quality initiatives Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred) Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Prof, BLS, ACLS (all required upon hire) 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills; ability to establish effective professional relationships #J-18808-Ljbffr Azza HealthCare Agency
