Registered Nurse - NICU

$2549.84/week –

Job Summary:
The NICU RN is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care tailored to each infant’s needs in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the condition of neonatal patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Deliver direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering treatments.
• Educate families on neonatal care, medical procedures, and transition processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
• Float as needed and participate in on-call duties to meet unit staffing needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA RN license with Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
• Obtain and maintain current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Level III or IV NICU settings.
• Demonstrate charge nurse and high-risk delivery experience.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Be able to work 3×12 night shifts with voluntary call and weekend requirements.
