Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00). Start times vary, beginning at 0600 and staggering until 0830. Flexibility in scheduling is required.

Assignment Details: Contract length and guaranteed hours are not specified. Nurses scheduled for PACU are expected to finish their day, and shift relief is not available in outpatient surgery.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience required.
• California state license required; pending licenses will be accepted.
• No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO).

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients post-anesthesia.
• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and pain management.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding recovery and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
