Commercial Lines Account Manager

Overview Are you looking to join a growing insurance agency that truly values its team? Our Client is seeking a motivated Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager (some experience required) to support and grow within an established, high-retention book of commercial business. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior insurance experience and a current Property & Casualty license who is looking to take the next step in their career. This is a DIRECT-HIRE role. You will work closely with experienced team members to manage commercial accounts, strengthen client relationships, and continue developing your expertise in commercial insurance. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day service needs of an assigned commercial book of business Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors Review policies for coverage gaps and provide proactive recommendations Lead and support the renewal process, including gathering updated risk and loss information, preparing applications, marketing accounts, reviewing pricing, and presenting renewal options Support account growth through cross-selling (account rounding) and client referrals Communicate with carriers regarding policy changes, billing, and documentation requests Maintain accurate records in the agency management system and ensure timely follow-up on service requests Qualifications Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required Prior experience in commercial insurance, personal lines, or agency support role required Strong communication and client service skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up abilities Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience with agency management systems preferred J & J pays WEEKLY and we offer Direct Deposit, Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits, Paid Time Off, and a $$$ Referral Bonus $$$ !!!
