Actuarial Analyst I
Virtual Vocations Inc
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Actuarial Analyst I will perform individual project tasks, execute calculations of moderate complexity, and analyze actuarial data to support various financial and operational analyses. Key responsibilities Reviews and organizes actuarial and operational data for analyses, preparing reports and models as needed Participates in special studies and ad hoc analyses, making recommendations based on actuarial assumptions Prepares accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data integrity and compliance Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree 0-2 actuarial exams passed and 0-2 years of health actuarial experience preferred Knowledge of calculus, statistics, and probability Ability to evaluate large data sets using models and tables Strong understanding of business and financial concepts
