About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP for its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business unit. The successful candidate will be the P&L owner for the T&D business, with a primary focus on driving profitable growth through operational execution and business development. This role is fully accountable for the financial performance of the business unit and will oversee all project activities, from day-to-day operations to long-term strategic planning. The VP will also be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. A key aspect of the role is to work closely with the business development team to identify and secure new project opportunities, as well as to lead contract negotiations. Applicants for the VP, T&D position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction, with a Master's degree in business preferred. A minimum of 10 years' industry-related experience and 5 years' in a client-facing or business development capacity within T&D or energy infrastructure construction is required. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in financial and general management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead and develop a large operations team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be adept at project management, and have a history of fostering strong client relationships. The VP will be expected to travel extensively and must be committed to the company's values of safety, quality, and employee development.
