Mobile Phlebotomist - Birmingham Alabama

Madison Core Labs is a state‑of‑the‑art, full‑service independent clinical laboratory located in Huntsville, Alabama. We are seeking an experienced, detail‑oriented mobile phlebotomist to join our team. Position Summary The mobile phlebotomist will efficiently and accurately collect blood and specimen samples for laboratory analysis. This position will work a flexible schedule serving North Alabama, including Birmingham and surrounding areas, with hours that may range between 5:30 am and 5:00 pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently collect blood and specimen samples based on facility needs. Identify patients and verify personal information using a form of ID and/or medical records. Ensure the quality and quantity of collected samples. Label samples correctly and send or deliver them for testing. Answer related patient questions and provide useful information. Adhere to all health and safety standards while working in the facility and/or traveling. Follow instructions and other duties as directed by the supervisor. Skills and Abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills. Superior time‑management skills. Attention to detail. Ability to connect with a diverse group of patients. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience 5 years related experience (Preferred). Education High School diploma (Required). Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Phlebotomy certification (Preferred). Valid driver's license (Required).
