General Counsel

Our client is a quickly growing multi-entity conglomerate based here in California. They're currently looking for an Associate General Counsel to join the team whose focus will be on employment and labor matters within the company. This person should have strong firm-side experience, on the defense side, working with corporate employment law here in California.

Associate General Counsel (Labor & Employment):

• Must be fully licensed and in good standing in CA
• Must be willing to travel to So Cal occasionally for meetings
• Must have heavy experience with employment law and litigation
• Must have strong experience on the law firm side, and defense side
• Will handle employment arbitration/litigation across multiple corporate entities
• Will be hands on at all levels and provide guidance to executive leadership and HR on a variety of employment law issues
• Must have 5+ years experience defending employers in all forms of employment litigation
• Focus should be on using outside counsel as minimally as possible
• Salary likely $200k-$250k base + bonus, benefits, PTO, etc
