Weber Gallagher is a thriving and growing firm with more than 150 legal professionals in 13 locations. We provide legal counseling and representation in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States to local, national, and international businesses, financial institutions, and insurance companies. We represent businesses, employers, and individuals in multiple areas of law.

Weber Gallagher is seeking a detailed and organized Billing Specialist to support our firm's Finance Department. This position has flexibility to work remotely from any of the following states: New Jersey, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, or Delaware . Qualified candidates must have three to five years’ experience in law firm billing.

Responsibilities: 

• Posting time.
• Preparing files for billing.
• Generating pre bills.
• Editing attorney time as directed.
• Reviewing pre bills for client guidelines/implementation.
• Processing final billing.
• Creating and maintaining billing rates.
• Setting up new files on electronic billing sites.
• Submitting invoices to electronic billing sites with specific experience in – editing text files, adding timekeepers, budgets and rates to bill sites, reviewing billing errors and updating files accordingly. 

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in legal billing, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.
• Familiarity with electronic billing sites (LSS, Legal Exchange, Legal X/Allegient, Collaborati, Tymetrix, Serengeti, Collaboration, etc.), required.
• Experience with Aderant, preferred.
• Experience working with attorneys and clients and maintaining accurate client matter information in finance system.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate professionally across a wide range of audiences.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines. 

The anticipated salary range for this role is $75,000+. Salary will be dependent on a variety of factors including education, experience and internal equity.
