Billing Specialist

Ensuring timely and accurate customer billing, the full-time remote Billing Specialist will manage invoice preparation, sales tax application, and follow-up on open sales orders while supporting operations teams and maintaining financial accuracy. Key responsibilities Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices promptly in Business Central, ensuring accuracy of pricing and contract terms Ensure correct sales tax application on all customer invoices and follow up on open sales orders for timely billing Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and support month-end close activities Required qualifications 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or a related administrative finance role preferred Experience with preparing customer invoices and verifying pricing and contract terms for accuracy Basic understanding of sales tax application and customer billing practices Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP/accounting system preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills, particularly during month-end close
