- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Board: NCCPA certified
- Licenses: Active TN PA license, Active TN DEA
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS
- Experience: Preferred: 2 years EM experience; new graduates considered
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
- Collaborate with attending emergency medicine physicians for 24/7 coverage.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
- Manage patient flow and acuity in a high-volume community hospital ED.
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR.
