Job Description
Undercover Awnings seeks a detail-oriented Awning Fabricator to join our small team of 2-5 people. This role focuses primarily on cutting, sewing, and fastening fabric and metal to awning frames. Additional duties may include metal fabrication, frame assembly, quality inspection, inventory management, and occasional installation support. We offer part-time to full-time positions with flexible hours for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Cut fabric accurately to specifications
- Sew and fasten fabric to awning frames
- Perform custom metal shaping, welding, soldering, and fastening
- Assemble awning frames and components
- Support awning installation when needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in awning fabrication
- Proficient in sewing and fabric cutting
- Skilled in tool operation for metalwork
- Strong attention to detail
