Junior Fabricators

Junior Fabricator/Assembler Automation Personnel Services is seeking a hard‑working Junior Fabricator/Assembler to support Senior Fabricators with the production of custom millwork products in Powder Springs, GA. The role requires a basic understanding of millwork fabrication and a willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast‑paced environment. Pay Rate $16.00 to $19.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. Duties and Responsibilities Assist senior millwork fabricators in the fabrication and assembly of custom millwork products. Learn and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials required and fabrication methods. Operate hand and power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders to cut, shape, and form materials. Sand and finish millwork products to ensure a smooth and polished appearance. Communicate with senior fabricators to meet project deadlines and ensure customer specifications are met. Discern quality of parts and materials used in production. Assemble millwork products such as cabinets using hand and power tools. Follow company procedures and directives. Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. Maintain tools used to create products. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and keeping work areas organized. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Some experience in millwork fabrication or a related field preferred. Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Basic understanding of hand and power tools and machinery. Good communication skills and ability to take direction from senior fabricators. Good manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure high‑quality assembly. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and develop new skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team. Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies to improve product quality and efficiency. Understanding of math and measurements (tape measure). Physical Demands Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching are regular activities. Lifting or moving items over 50 pounds is required. Requires clear vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Job Type Full time, temporary to hire. Benefits Weekly pay.
