Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Newborn Nursery

Location

Forrest City, Arkansas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Hold shift accountability for providing care to Newborn Nursery patients during the immediate neonatal phase and newborn care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Assist in Mother Baby unit as needed when census is low.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Newborn Nursery or NICU setting.
• Familiarity with Mother Baby or postpartum care environments.
