Site Reliability Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Product Support Analyst I – SRE / DevOps (Observability & Production Support) . This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) . Job ID:26-21362 Pay Range: $32 - $35/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will help ensure the reliability, performance, and stability of key restaurant-facing platforms by working closely with engineering and infrastructure teams. You will use observability tools such as DataDog, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS Lambda to monitor system health, identify issues early, and support proactive incident resolution. This position reports to the Sr. Infrastructure Engineer and offers a strong opportunity to grow in a cloud, DevOps, and production support environment. Provide production and application support for Front of House platforms, including Prep E Monitor system health, performance, and alerts using observability tools Investigate incidents, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis Support alerting and monitoring improvements using DataDog, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch Troubleshoot production issues across application, infrastructure, and cloud environments Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to resolve defects and improve reliability Build and improve documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles Help automate repetitive support tasks and streamline operational processes Support deployment and production readiness activities Contribute to continuous improvement of support and troubleshooting workflows Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, DevOps, SRE, or Technical Operations Experience with observability or monitoring tools such as DataDog, Grafana, or CloudWatch Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Hands-on experience with log analysis and root cause analysis Basic understanding of AWS fundamentals Basic knowledge of Linux Familiarity with SDLC and CI/CD concepts Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to translate business needs into technical support actions Experience with Python, Bash, Shell scripting, or another scripting language Exposure to AWS Lambda Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Experience with automation in a support or operations environment Understanding of software deployment and production support best practices Our client is a leading biopharmaceutical Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
