Base hourly wage ranges from $16.66 while still in training, $17 once trained and certified, with hourly premium pay for shift leadership. Tips from all pickup orders are shared by the interior hourly staff; this ranges from $2.90 to $5.15 and is added to your hourly pay rate to equal your total compensation.

NOTE-. The vacancy we are filling here is for a dough/prep assistant and lunchtime pizza cook, with bonus points if you can occasionally deliver lunchtime orders. You will be serving as the apprentice to our lead dough chef, responsible for helping with daily dough and prep cook duties. You will also be trained as a pizza chef for the lunch period, working with one of our managers. Shifts will be any day of the week between 8a and 1p, and you will be working at least 10 hours and as much as 35 hours. More hours will be available to employees with the skill set and attitude we are looking for.  This role is intended to train and prepare you to fill the role of Dough and Prepmaster, which is a leadership role in our store structure.  Applicants to this position can look forward to promotion to lead dough chef and/or the official Dough and Prepmaster role if they successfully complete the apprenticeship. 

Required Skills/Experience:

• At least 18 years of age
• Must be polite, reliable, honest and hard working
• Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long hours at a time and work in a positive fast-paced environment
• Pizza, dough, or chef/cook experience is required
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Cheerful outlook and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Reliable automobile and good driving record is a plus but not required

Responsibilities also include:

• Main duties include making pizzas & salads, and operating the cash register
• Answer phones
• Answer questions about our product
• Serve customers in a professional manner
• Food preparations
• Sanitizing and cleaning
• Be able to lift 50 lbs
• Take orders and process payments
• Assist with training new employees
