Manufacturing Production Associate

This role focuses on assembling and packing finished products into boxes, inspecting items for quality, and preparing pallets for shipment in a clean manufacturing environment. You will support machine operators by loading and unloading materials, setting up equipment, and ensuring each machine has the correct supplies to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes and prepare them for packing according to production requirements.
• Pack completed products into boxes with attention to accuracy and order specifications.
• Inspect products during the packing process to identify and remove any damaged or defective items.
• Seal packed boxes securely to ensure safe handling and transport.
• Stack sealed boxes onto pallets in a stable and organized manner.
• Wrap full pallets and move them safely to the warehouse using a pallet jack.
• Assist machine operators with handling finished products before they are packed.
• Help load and unload materials into production machines as needed.
• Support machine setup by ensuring each machine has the correct materials and supplies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or a strong work history in food or retail settings.
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds safely and repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Experience with quality inspection processes is a plus but not required.
• Experience in general labor, assembly, picking, or warehouse operations is beneficial.
• Familiarity with packaging lines or packaging equipment is an advantage.
• Comfort working as part of a production team and supporting machine operators.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes in a manufacturing setting.

The role is based in a clean manufacturing facility focused on production and packaging operations. You will work around packaging lines, production machines, and warehouse areas, regularly using pallet jacks to move wrapped pallets. The environment emphasizes organization, safety, and quality, with clear processes for packing, inspection, and material handling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Howard Lake, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
