Clinical Research Assistant II

To aid in support of clinical research within the State of Ohio Adversity and Resilience (SOAR) initiative. SOAR is a state‑of‑the‑art, multigenerational study of family/household units that focuses on a bio‑psycho‑socio‑environmental (BioPSE) model of the risk for, expression of, and protection from persistent distress, suicide, and overdose. Responsibilities Recruit and consent study participants. Perform behavioral or diagnostic testing. Process biospecimen samples. Collect biometric specimens and data. Collect, maintain and report clinical research data. Education Requirements Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in biological sciences, health sciences, or medical field. Qualifications Minimum 0 years of relevant experience required; 2‑4 years preferred. Experience in research capacity desired. Knowledge or experience in a specialty may be desired. Experience in phlebotomy may be desired. Experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired. Computer skills required; knowledge of database software applications desired. Successful completion of a background check and drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
