Job Description As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol in Suffolk, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. At a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and support a controlled environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.01 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 11:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report irregular conditions. Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate security-related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
