• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start: Immediate
• Pay Rate: $60.00-$65.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This position is in the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room at a Short Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma Center / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center facility. The role will position float between units and may be asked to float to Holy Family Hospital performing the same duties if overstaffed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics
• Provide clinical social work services in the emergency room setting
• Float between emergency room units as needed

Education Requirements

• Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Required Experience

• Experience in conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics
• Hospital experience preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Patient ratios of 7
• Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• May float to other facilities (Holy Family Hospital) if needed
• Charting system: Epic
• Parking: No fee
• No on-call requirement
• No block schedules required
