Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:Owns the end-to-end health and performance of an assigned portfolio of customers across the Order-to-Cash lifecycle, ensuring delivery of a best-in-class customer experience while driving strong financial outcomes.This role is accountable for monitoring customer performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving cross-functional resolution to improve order accuracy, reduce deductions, and optimize cash flow. The OTC Portfolio Manager partners closely with Sales, customers, and internal functions to ensure alignment to commercial terms and delivery of consistent, high-quality service.In this role, you will:Role Impact:Improves customer experience and service reliability across the OTC lifecycleDrives reduction in deductions and dispute volumesEnhances order accuracy and billing qualitySupports improvement in working capital performance (DSO, past due, cash application)Enables proactive identification of risks and opportunities at the customer levelStrengthens alignment between Sales, customers, and operationsCredit Risk Management:Analyze financial statements, credit reports, payment histories, and other risk indicators.Monitor customer credit exposure and recommend actions to mitigate risk.Establish and maintain credit policies, procedures, and controls.Review and approve credit limit changes and risk-related exceptions based on business needs and risk assessments.Conduct periodic account reviews to ensure ongoing creditworthiness and compliance with policy.Customer Portfolio Ownership:Own the end-to-end performance of an assigned portfolio of customersMonitor key performance metrics across the OTC lifecycle, including:Order accuracyBilling qualityDeduction trendsCash application and unapplied cashEnsure adherence to contractual terms and service expectationsCustomer Performance Management:Conduct regular, holistic customer reviews to assess:Performance trendsRisks and issuesOpportunities for improvementPresent actionable insights and recommendations to internal stakeholdersAct as the primary point of contact for portfolio-related OTC performanceIssue Identification & Resolution:Proactively identify issues impacting customer performance across:Order managementBillingDeductionsCash applicationCoordinate cross-functional resolution with:Order ManagementBilling and PricingAR / CreditSupply ChainProcess & System Integration ManagersEscalate critical issues and ensure timely resolutionRoot Cause Identification & Elimination:Identify recurring issues and systemic drivers impacting customer performancePartner with Process & System Integration Managers to diagnose root causes across systems and processesCollaborate with Controls, Data & Billing Integrity team to address data and control gapsDrive sustainable solutions that prevent reoccurrenceCustomer & Commercial Partnership:Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to ensure alignment on:Customer expectationsTerms of saleIssue resolution prioritiesEngage directly with customers as needed to address performance issues and improve service deliveryProvide insights to support customer negotiations and relationship managementPerformance Monitoring & Insights:Track and report key portfolio-level metrics, including:DSO and past due balancesDeduction volume and trendsBilling accuracy impactsCash on account / unapplied cashTranslate insights into actions that improve customer and financial outcomesWhat we look for:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field5–8+ years of experience in OTC, AR, Customer Operations, or related fieldStrong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processesExperience working in a cross-functional, matrixed environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferredExperience in Shared Services / GBS environmentExposure to BPO or outsourced operationsExperience working directly with Sales or customersKnowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)Credit Risk Management#LI-HYBRIDWorkplace type:HybridOur values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people to be their best, professionally and personally.
