Cardiac Ultrasound PositionFull time-days, Monday to Friday, hours 8am to 4:30pm, variable weekends.About Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital:Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. The hospital is also known for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neuroscience, women's health, heart and vascular, and cancer care.Scope to Work:Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations consisting of: two-dimensional imaging, spectral and color flow Doppler, m-mode; trans esophageal; exercise and pharmacologic echocardiograms; saline and left ventricular opacification studies on adult patients. Instruction of medical personnel in technical performance, clinical application, and cardiac pathology as it pertains to cardiac ultrasound. May act as a mentor/preceptor for other Ultrasonographers and/or students.This is a Cardiac Ultrasound position; only RDCS, ACS, or RCS credentials are required.Qualifications:Required associate's degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.Minimal as gained at student level.
