Corporate Finance Associate

A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its commercial finance practice in Salt Lake City.

The attorney will represent lenders, borrowers and other institutional clients in sophisticated financing transactions. This position offers substantive deal responsibility, direct client interaction and the resources of an established national platform.

THE WORK

• Draft, review and negotiate loan and security documents
• Manage deals from initial structuring through closing
• Work on secured and unsecured credit transactions involving varied assets and collateral
• Collaborate with attorneys across complementary transactional practices

IDEAL BACKGROUND

• Approximately 3+ years of relevant transactional experience
• Experience with commercial lending, real estate finance, asset-based lending or other secured financing matters
• Broader corporate experience will also be considered
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage matters efficiently and work directly with sophisticated clients
• Utah admission preferred; attorneys willing to obtain a Utah license are encouraged to apply

COMPENSATION

Compensation will depend on experience. The anticipated base salary generally ranges from the mid-$100,000s to the mid-$200,000s. Candidates who meet or exceed the preferred qualifications may be considered above the stated range.
