Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide essential mental health services within our remote community health clinic, dedicated to supporting the holistic well-being of students in the Suffolk area, Virginia. As a key member of our School Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in addressing the diverse mental health needs of students, fostering a positive environment for emotional growth and resilience.

This full-time position allows for a remote work setting, promoting flexibility while ensuring that our services reach students effectively. You will engage with a diverse student population through digital means, providing tele-therapy sessions and virtual support to address mental health concerns. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts or rotating weekends as necessary to provide comprehensive care.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, incorporating their unique backgrounds, presenting issues, and potential risk factors to formulate effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with students, focusing on therapeutic interventions that enhance emotional well-being and facilitate successful integration within the school setting.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, ensuring that each student's needs are met appropriately.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping mechanisms.

• Work closely with a team of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners to ensure holistic care coordination.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and making referrals for higher levels of care when necessary.

• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and relevant community resources to empower informed decision-making.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards, while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to foster collaboration and share insights regarding student care.

• Stay updated on pertinent laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to mental health practices in school settings, ensuring that your practice upholds the highest standards of care.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of students in the Suffolk public school system, many of whom face various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and social emotional difficulties. By working within the school community, you will help students in distress, providing the support necessary for them to succeed in their academic pursuits and life challenges.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
\n
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Virginia.
\n
• A minimum of two years' post-licensure experience, preferably in a mental health or school setting.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly in educational contexts.
\n
• Proficient in performing mental health assessments and formulating treatment plans that address the complexities of mental health conditions.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy utilizing diverse therapeutic approaches that cater to a range of student needs.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated capability to build trust with students and their families from various backgrounds.

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards in all interactions.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and excellent computer skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
