IT Support Specialist – Temp-to-HireOur client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support for employees within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position supporting computer hardware, software, user accounts, network connectivity, and general IT troubleshooting.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipmentTroubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issuesSet up computers, user accounts, email, and access for new employeesInstall, configure, and maintain software and computer equipmentAssist with password resets, permissions, and general user supportSupport printers, scanners, phones, and other peripheral devicesTroubleshoot basic network and Wi-Fi issuesMaintain IT equipment and documentationEscalate more complex technical issues when necessaryProvide friendly, responsive support to employees across the organizationQualifications• Previous experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or a similar role• Strong Windows and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills• Experience supporting PCs, laptops, printers, and common office technology• Basic understanding of networking, user accounts, and system permissions• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Comfortable working independently and supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledgePosition DetailsThis is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering $28–$30/hour, based on experience. The position is onsite in Hayward, CA, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
