Working in a 31-bed emergency department that sees a broad spectrum of patient acuity-from infants to geriatric populations-you'll gain exposure to diverse workplace practices, critical cases, and different leadership styles. Schedule Options:

• Shifts: Days (7a-7p), Mids (11a-11p), Nights (7p-7a)
• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
• No on-call required, flexible holiday scheduling according to rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced nursing care for emergency patients across all age groups and conditions, including critical, cardiac, behavioral health, and trauma cases
• Proficiently initiate, titrate, and monitor cardiac drips, sedation, insulin, and pressors
• Provide neuro assessments (NIHSS), start IVs, and insert foleys/NG tubes
• Lead by example in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
• Assist with bedside procedures and moderate sedation in emergent situations
• Efficiently triage, stabilize, and transport patients as needed

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience (travel experience required)
• Current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and team leadership skills
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
