Head of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs

Location: Hybrid or Remote (Secure Engage – Canada/US)

Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of Secure Engage’s compliance strategy across North American and international regulatory frameworks (OSFI B-10, DORA, OCC, etc.)
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and legal teams to ensure platform readiness and defensibility against financial regulatory standards
• Act as a key liaison with regulators, clients, and auditors to validate the credibility and robustness of Secure Engage’s AI-driven cyber risk assessment methodology
• Oversee the creation and continuous improvement of regulatory mappings, evidence templates, and audit workflows
• Advise on privacy, security, and third-party risk practices affecting high-risk, high-trust (HRHT) relationships in sectors such as banking, insurance, and legal services

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within financial institutions or regulatory bodies
• Deep knowledge of financial sector compliance standards (e.g., OSFI, OCC, DORA, GLBA, SOC2, ISO 27001)
• Proven ability to interface with CCOs, CISOs, auditors, and regulators
• Experience guiding SaaS platforms through audits, third-party risk reviews, or regulatory evaluations
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and clear communication skills
• Familiarity with AI and cybersecurity-related regulatory trends is a plus
