At Percy, we're building new ways to connect talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We're currently seeking a Maintenance Technician (HVAC-focused) to support an established residential portfolio in Prairie Village, KS.
This role supports a 300+ unit, multi-community cluster of older garden-style buildings located within about a one-minute drive of each other. You’ll join an established onsite maintenance team and step into a high-volume service environment where strong HVAC troubleshooting, reliable attendance, and a self-directed work style will make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities
- Complete daily service requests across a 300+ unit, multi-property footprint
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in older residential buildings
- Support unit turns and make-ready work as needed based on property demand
- Communicate professionally with residents during in-unit repairs and follow-ups
- Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately every fifth week once fully staffed)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience (adjacent experience considered with strong HVAC background)
- EPA Universal certification (EPA Type I and II acceptable as a fallback)
- Hands-on HVAC diagnostics and repair experience (heat pumps, capacitors, condensers, refrigerant-related work)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for short travel between nearby sites
- Stable work history and strong reliability and attendance

- Total compensation range of approximately $56,000 to $64,000 annually (equivalent to $27 to $31/hour on a standard 40-hour week), with top pay up to $31/hour
