Rig OperatorThe Rig Operator is responsible for application of chemicals and fertilizer; general vehicle and equipment maintenance; and providing maximum service to customers. (Other duties may be assigned.)Demonstrates basic knowledge and understanding of all chemicals, fertilizers and their abilitiesLoads and unloads fertilizer and chemicalsEfficiently and accurately applies chemicals and fertilizers and processes related documentationLeads tender truck driversProcesses treatment of seedsResponsible for anhydrous ammonia inventory and maintenanceResponsible for upkeep and repairs for all vehicles and equipment and reporting any issues to managementLearns, understands, and complies with all safety and government regulationsResponsible for operating within the credit and operations guidelinesProvides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; responding promptly to customer needs, resolving questions, complaints, and concerns immediately; and meeting commitmentsAbility to work a varied schedule including days of the week, shifts and hours per week (including overtime as needed)Assists other locations to accomplish company goalsAttends training opportunities to improve job skillsAttends safety and training meetingsPerforms routine maintenance and repair on all agronomy equipmentCompletes all paperwork accurately, timely and in accordance with requirementsEffectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees and managementMaintains and promotes safety awareness and follows safety policies, procedures and reporting requirementsMust comply with all state and federal laws, codes and regulationsPresents a clean and professional appearanceResponsible for prompt and regular attendanceEmployee is required to perform all other duties as assignedJoin our dynamic team and be part of a company that values safety, professionalism, and exceptional service. Familiarity with agronomy and related equipment preferred.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONSCustom Applicator's License (1-A)Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) preferred
