Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 22 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Indiana This role involves providing specialized patient care in a Level III NICU setting. The position offers night shifts, with a focus on delivering high-quality neonatal care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Job Details Position Description: Responsible for patient care in a 31-bed NICU, utilizing equipment such as EPIC computer charting and Pyxis medication administration. Required Qualifications: Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification (AHA), NRP certification, and a minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with mandatory attendance during a 2-week orientation from Monday to Friday in the first week and Monday to Tuesday in the second week. Additional Information: Travel may include floating to appropriately aged Pediatric (Peds) or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) areas if needed. Orientation will be conducted Monday through Friday during the first two weeks, with mandatory attendance. The candidate must be willing to submit a license and meet all certification requirements before start date.
