Responsibilities
As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer within Honeywell Next Gen Avionics (NGA) group , you will play a pivotal role in the development, integration, and implementation of cutting-edge avionics solutions on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform. As the system owner of the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck, our team is responsible for the overall system architecture, working collaboratively with product teams (i.e Flight Displays, FMS, etc) to ensure seamless integration of their modules. In this role, you will work alongside a diverse team of engineers, developers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking Avionics solutions.

As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering design, development and systems integration for avionics systems on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and ensure seamless integration of avionics solutions that meet system requirements and performance specifications.
• Perform systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, system architecture development, integration testing, and validation of avionics systems.
• Conduct trade studies and feasibility analyses to support decision-making for avionics development and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and interface control documents.
• Coordinate and conduct system-level and subsystem-level testing
• Identify potential risks in the development and integration process, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to avionics system

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 6+ years of Systems engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in systems engineering principles and processes.

• Strong Avionics and systems lifecycle knowledge.
• MBSE experience
• DO-178 / DO-254 familiarity
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
