Advanced Systems Engineer

As an Advanced System Engineer, you will play a key role in integral the design, development, testing and certification of flight control systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the development of flight control systems, ensuring their safety, performance, and compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop system level requirements, as well as SW based implementation, integration and verification activities.

• Performing system engineering activities demonstrating compliance, including planning documents, work instructions, verification and analysis activities

• Functional integration and troubleshooting on system bench

• Participating in customer interactions are expected and occasional travel to support requirements development and on-site testing may be needed.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, System Engineering or a related field

• A minimum of 3 years of experience directly related to flight control system development and/or related avionics functionality

• Must be able to obtain a security clearance due to compliance with U. S. export laws and regulations.

• Expertise in requirements development and technical writing

• Extensive experience with flight control system development, testing and integration (duplicate)

• Experience and knowledge of industry standards and regulations (ARP4754, DO-178, etc.)

• Experience with Matlab, Python or similar tools
