Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students as a School Social Worker in a well-established educational setting near Albion, Michigan. This position is covering a maternity leave beginning in January and continuing through April, with the potential to extend through June. You’ll have the opportunity to help young learners and their families navigate academic and social challenges, making a true impact on their educational journey.

Enjoy up to 40 hours per week, with a preference for onsite engagement. For exceptional candidates, a virtual/remote (VOCO) arrangement may also be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Full School Social Worker Certification is required; please confirm your certification status here:
• Prior experience supporting students in a school-based role
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, families, and administrators
• Adept at handling sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaboratively develop and implement support plans tailored to individual student needs
